The short answer

What does an AI rap video generator do?

RapVideo is an online AI rap video generator for two people. Upload two portraits, one per person, or a single photo with both of you. The generator puts the pair on a music stage, writes or takes the lyrics, and renders a lip-synced performance in one pass. You make the video in your browser without filming or installing anything.

The default stage is the warm orange booth from the Hotel Lobby AI trend (here is what the Hotel Lobby trend is). Any pair works: best friends, a couple, siblings, grandparents or coworkers can become an AI rap duo, trade bars in an AI rap battle or star in a birthday rap.

Default

A rap the AI writes

Type a topic of up to 120 characters, such as two names and a shared joke, and the AI writes and performs an original verse about it. Leave it empty for a hype verse about the two of you.

Your words

Your own lyrics

Paste up to 300 characters of bars you wrote and the lead performs them in sync over a fresh beat. Good for a verse you have been saving or a custom shout-out.

No vocals

Beat only

An original instrumental with no vocals: the duo bounces, dances and vibes on stage. Add a trending sound inside TikTok or Instagram when you post.

How it works

How to make an AI rap video from two photos

  1. 01

    Add your rap duo

Upload a clear photo of each person, or a single photo with both of you in it. Whoever is on the left leads; the right one hypes.

Photo effects

Pets, grandparents or just you: Earth zoom out, hugs, dance, clones and more.

Before you upload

Which photos work best

Whatever is in the photos ends up on stage: the face, the hair, the outfit. Each half of the duo needs a clear face. More photo tips

Works well

  • One face per photo, looking at the camera
  • Even daylight or soft indoor light
  • Head and shoulders in frame, sharp focus
  • Photos taken apart are fine, even years apart

Skip these

  • Sunglasses, masks or hands over the face
  • Group shots where faces are tiny
  • Heavy beauty filters or cartoon edits
  • Anyone who has not agreed, or a public figure
